The monthly delivery

The report, the thinking, and the upkeep.

A management pack your team can use

An agreed view of financial performance, with the comparisons and detail your business needs and your records can support.

A clear explanation of what moved

Written commentary on material changes, supported by the model. Questions and limitations stay visible alongside the numbers.

A reporting model that stays useful

Source mappings, definitions and checks are maintained. Improvements follow an agreed scope as the business changes.

How we work

Start with the work you need.

Monthly Reporting

We agree the reports you need, keep what already works, and build what is necessary for the first useful pack. Then we prepare, check and explain the agreed reports each month, with maintenance and review time defined in the scope.

Reporting Review

A focused, paid review of agreed reports, sources and questions. You receive written findings, limitations and recommended next steps. It can end there, or lead to separately agreed improvements or monthly reporting.

For Monthly Reporting, one agreed initial-period fee covers the initial build and first pack. The ongoing monthly fee is stated separately before you commit. A Reporting Review has its own agreed scope and fee, with no obligation to continue. Pricing reflects the work, available evidence and delivery calendar.

Built around your needs. Priced around the work.

We agree the reports and detail you need, review the sources available, and define the delivery and support required. Your proposal names the outputs, responsibilities, timing and fees before work begins.

  • Reports and level of detail
  • Available sources and their condition
  • Entities, currencies and reporting history
  • Delivery frequency, review and support

A simple monthly report and a multi-entity reporting build do not require the same work. We scope the useful starting point, not every possible module.

The work starts from wherever your reporting is today.

You already have useful reports

We review the agreed process, preserve what works and confirm the checks needed before taking over production.

You want to improve your reporting

We identify the priority changes. A focused review can help define substantial work; a useful existing report need not wait for every optional improvement.

You need a first report

We can start with a simple monthly P&L from QuickBooks or another accounting source. Detail and comparisons depend on the records available and the scope agreed.

Larger changes are agreed before work starts. Work already promised and correction of our own errors are not charged again as improvements.

The Margin method

More financial depth in the reports you already need.

The Margin method is built into the work: trace the sources, define the metrics, reconcile the totals, and examine margin and cost attribution where your scope calls for it. You hire a reporting specialist and get financial reasoning behind the output. The same evidence discipline supports a focused review or ongoing reporting; its depth follows the agreed work.

Working fit

A good working arrangement starts with clear ownership.

Your books have an owner

Your accountant or finance team owns accounting, adjustments and the close. We own the agreed reporting layer.

Your reporting can follow a calendar

Sources, questions, review and delivery have named owners and agreed dates.

There is a useful question or output to agree

You may need ongoing reporting or a focused review. We clarify what would be useful, who owns the inputs and who can approve the work.

The scope can stay clear

The contract defines outputs, review time and changes. New entities, major rebuilds and exceptional projects are scoped separately.

The detail you need

One business, several activities or different customers: we agree on what you need to understand and which records can support it.

What does each part of the business contribute?

We can look at results by business line, location, project, customer or property where your records support that detail. The breakdown must match the overall result.

How do we start if I don’t have a report?

We review the information available and agree on a useful first report. If essential records are missing, we identify what needs to be organized with your accountant or admin team.

Can I start with a review instead of monthly reporting?

Yes. We can agree a focused paid review with findings and recommended next steps. It can finish there; there is no obligation to buy a rebuild or monthly service.

What do I receive every month?

Your agreed report, with checked figures, comparisons with earlier periods where history is available and commentary on the important changes.

A monthly fee based on the agreed scope. The first period includes the build and your first report for one agreed fee. Your accountant or admin team remains responsible for the books and the accounting close.
